Macadamia oil has the highest ratio of heart-friendly monounsaturated fats among all the nuts and seeds – even more than olive oil. Because of their rich good fat profile, macadamias help reduce cholesterol levels and lower triglycerides.

Macadamias earned their superfood status via several studies that showed their efficacy in fighting inflammation, the first stage of most diseases of our generation – cancer, arthritis, heart disease, and diabetes to have a few. Macadamias have a beneficial ratio of Omega-6: and Omega-3.

While macadamias contain calcium, we also fortify with Calcium Phosphate, as listed in the ingredients.

We fortify with a small amount of pea protein because added protein helps make our milks creamy. We chose pea protein because it doesn’t contain dairy, lactose, or soy, is naturally gluten-free, is easy on the stomach, is low carb friendly, and is cholesterol and saturated fat-free.

milkadamia is NON-GMO Project Verified.  We go many extra miles to ensure no GMOs are in any milkadamia products.  Unfortunately, we have learned assurances and even signed certificates of compliance can mislead.  At milkadamia, we are independently investigating for ourselves the source and provenance of every ingredient.  We have had a couple of surprises and had to alter suppliers and/or formulations mid-stream.  This is a task that will never be complete as our suppliers’ source from multiple regions. However, as a result of undertaking this arduous task for ourselves, we are confident our products are GMO-free and you can be also.

Latte Da was formulated for cafes. As such, it is made to foam via steam and not with a milk frother.

If you are allergic to peanuts, an allergy to macadamias is possible.  Even though macadamia are the least allergenic of all tree nuts, it always best to ask your doctor first.

Our manufacturing facility does not process products that contain peanuts.

No. As coffee lovers here, we ensured milkadamia blends beautifully with coffee.

Plant-based milk is the perfect substitute for dairy milk. Non-dairy milk can be used as an even swap (1:1) in any recipe, including baking.  That said, do pay attention to the variety as plant-milks come in sweetened, unsweetened and vanilla versions. Absolutely. Plant-based butter, including our very own buttery-spread, is made to replace dairy butter cup for cup.

Regenerative farming focuses on restoring the biodiversity and composition of the soil, which in turn creates better yields and nutrient dense plants…while sequestering carbon from the atmosphere and allowing our planet to breathe easier. Regenerative farming techniques include a mix of utilizing minimum tilling, cover crops, and feeding the soil with organic matter.

milkadamia has one macadamia farm – Jindilli farm.  Not all the macadamia nuts we use in milkadamia come from our farm. However, the ones that do are grown using regenerative methods.  We are still learning, life on Jindilli farm has become a knowledge quest for the best ways to build healthy new top-soil. We have plenty to learn, we are not fully there yet, but we are fully committed.

Our purpose for Jindilli Farm is to develop it into an influence for regenerative farming within our rural community and far beyond.  However, our hope is that we will quickly become an irrelevance as folk give widespread support to regeneratively framed food.

Beyond Jindilli some Regenerative/Organic farms are in the works.  Applying Regenerative methods to an Organic farm ensures consumers will be getting the benefits promised by both.

Ask. Ask the companies that you buy from if they use regenerative farmed methods. Ask your retailer what brands they stock that use regenerative farmed products. Ask the farmer at the farmer’s market you visit if they use regenerative farming techniques. If consumers ask and demand regenerative farmed products, farmers/brands/companies will switch. Look at what consumers have done thus far with dairy.  Never underestimate the influence of your voice.
