moo is moot

Our overarching endeavor is to encourage consumers, through great taste, to use non-dairy products, thereby helping avert the clearing of tropical forests for the low-cost cattle feed that is costing us the earth.

beginnings

The spontaneous international grassroots adoption of plant-based diets sparked the birth of Milkadamia. Creating delicious plant-based milk from macadamias is a nod of respect, wonderment, and support for the plant-based people pioneering the art of living lightly in weighty times. Milkadamia's unique perspective is rooted in our origin as a small, family-owned macadamia farming business.

we’re for trees; they breathe out the sky

We're for the teaming billions of micro-organisms in healthy soil, the silent engine of life on earth. We love that macadamias are delicious but are less enthusiastic that many only experience them coated in chocolate or roasted and salted. You deserve to experience the raw, delicate taste and healthy oils as nature delivers them, which is why Milkadamia uses the nut in its raw state, never roasted.

regenerative farming – side effects

Block Image

As farmers transition to regenerative agriculture, they become infused with renewed hope and optimism. Milkadamia invites you to support this spirit-lifting, hope-inducing revolution. Could there be an intersection of the expressway of human history with our dinky avenues of macadamia trees? Our experience is that when people are absorbed in restoring the land, an unavoidable side effect is that fractious fractures between them fade and begin to heal.

And that we believe because this we know: Soil regeneration leads to soul regeneration; thus, one of humanity's most urgent tasks tightly aligns with one of humanity's deepest yearnings.

we are milkadamia

We will promote the eco-benefits (and sheer joy) of regenerative agriculture, the sustainability of plant-based diets, and the creamy taste of Milkadamia. That is what we do, who we are, and you (and all the future you's) are why. If you haven’t yet, please consider adding Milkadamia to your repertoire of plant milk.

Best Regards

Jim Richards, Milkadamia

P.S.
Try pre-cycling; it helps to live lightly. For instance, plant-based milk is no better from the store refrigerator than the shelf; however, the chilled supply chain has an endless and bottomless earth-punishing eco-footprint. Practice pre-cycling by purchasing from the shelf and chilling just before use.
