Vegan Cinnamon Rolls

Servings: 10
Time: 4 hours with rise time

  • 1 ½ c milkadamia - Unsweetened Vanilla (room temperature)
  • ½ c Mac Nut Oil (macadamia oil)
  • ¼ c sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 c flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • ½ c warm water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ¾ c milkadamia butta bing butta bloom (or other vegan butter )
  • ½ c sugar
  • ¼ c brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 c Powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp Milkadamia Vanilla Creamer

  1. In a small glass, add warm water, 1 tbsp sugar & yeast – stir gently and let “bloom”
  2. In a large bowl, mix together milkadamia, mac nut oil, sugar, salt & flour
  3. Once the yeast has “bloomed” add the sugar, yeast, water mixture. Mix until a sticky dough forms. (Add more flour if too sticky, or more milkadamia if too dry)
  4. Oil the bowl and cover dough with damp towel or saran wrap. Let sit for at least 3 hours to let the dough rise
  5. Knead the dough lightly & roll out on a floured surface into a rectangle shape. Brush vegan butter or mac nut oil over the dough evenly
  6. Sprinkle evenly with the filling mixture & roll into a log
  7. Place the dough seam side down & begin cutting out individual rolls
  8. Place the rolls in an oiled oven-safe dish & cover so the dough can rise for approx. 20 minutes
  9. Bake the rolls at 350 degrees for 25-30min until golden brown.
